Ten people, ten different perspectives, and five fascinating conversations that will hopefully lead to many more.
The idea is simple: pull together a room full of technologists and artists, as many perspectives as possible, and start talking. On stage we'll have five one on one conversations with time between to mingle, find a side room, and keep ideas flowing.
The whole thing will be emceed by Dan Sinker and held at Constellation — make sure you add yourself to the email list below if you want an invitation. We start at 1:30, but you have to be confirmed on the invite list to attend. Please add your email below to get an invitation. The conversations:
Part hack day. Part professional workshop. We've got a big space with plenty of room for learning, brainstorming, and building — for coders, musicians, and anyone else.
We've got a whole day in Chicago's amazing 1871 co-working space, a big room for brainstorming and coding, with smaller rooms for conversations and learning sessions. We're working on a theme for the big room, and we'll schedule time slots for smaller rooms so you can propose a session to explore the ideas that matter to you.
Where: 1871, 222 W. Merchandise Mart Plaza, 12th Floor
When: Sunday, March 2. 12pm - 6pm
Who should come? Anyone with ideas. Musicians, coders, makers, thinkers.
Cost: $0. Totally free. We're asking for your time and ideas, not your money.
If you're coding there are no limits. This isn't about building with CASH Music tools — it's about having new ideas and building proofs of concept for artsts. But if you're curious about some of the things we've built:
